Recovery Force Health Announces Government Channel Partner Agreement with Marathon Medical

FISHERS, Indiana, October, 3, 2023 – Recovery Force Health, a commercial-stage digital health device manufacturer, is officially announcing their Government Channel Partner Agreement with Marathon Medical. The partnership will further expand availability of Recovery Force Health’s Movement and Compressions (MAC) System and ELEVATE Patient Positioners in the federal marketplace.

The MAC System is an FDA class II wearable medical device and the only mechanical compression device on the market with a 510(k) clearance for cordless/tubeless DVT Prevention with the added benefit of monitoring the patient’s orientation and movement. The system empowers all bedside caregivers with critical metrics to support the execution of in-hospital mobility and adherence to DVT prophylaxis.  Additionally, the same benefits can be achieved with high-risk postoperative patients while at home.

The ELEVATE Patient Positioners are designed for the bed-bound patient; this comfortable one-size-fits-all solution effectively offloads the sacrum across many patient populations in the hospital setting. The design allows the patient to stay in place and maintain an optimal 30° angle between patient turning cycles.

“Marathon Medical is excited to partner with Recovery Force Health to assist in bringing their disruptive technology and devices, The Movement And Compressions (MAC) System and ELEVATE Patient Positioners, to the Veteran’s Hospitals, as well as all other areas of the Federal Government Hospital System,” said Jon Landis, Chief Commercialization Officer of Marathon Medical. “Their novel wearable therapeutic compression device will help military personnel, family, and veterans suffering from blood clots, while their patient positioners will help to effectively offload the sacrum and be a more comfortable option for veterans.”

“Partnering with Marathon Medical will help accelerate adoption of the MAC System and ELEVATE Patient Positioners within the government channel,” commented Matthew Wyatt, Chief Executive Officer of Recovery Force Health. “We have just begun to scratch the surface of the help we can provide to our veterans, troops, and family members in VA and DoD, and we are honored to partner with an SDVOSB to make MAC and ELEVATE more widely available to all veterans and active-duty military who can benefit from our innovative devices.”
